{"id":17314,"date":"2025-06-05T08:52:02","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T06:52:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hayaenergy.com\/el-apagon-del-28-de-abril\/"},"modified":"2025-07-10T12:09:28","modified_gmt":"2025-07-10T10:09:28","slug":"blog-energia-renovable-el-apagon-del-28-de-abril","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hayaenergy.com\/es\/blog-energia-renovable-el-apagon-del-28-de-abril\/","title":{"rendered":"El apag\u00f3n del 28 de abril"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El 28 de abril de 2025, el sistema el\u00e9ctrico ib\u00e9rico sufri\u00f3 un <strong>colapso significativo<\/strong>, que comenz\u00f3 con la detecci\u00f3n de <strong>oscilaciones iniciales<\/strong> en la red entre las 12:03 y las 12:07 CEST, seguidas por una <strong>segunda serie de oscilaciones<\/strong> entre las 12:19 y las 12:21 CEST. En respuesta, los <strong>operadores del sistema de transmisi\u00f3n (TSO)<\/strong> de Espa\u00f1a y Francia implementaron medidas inmediatas para mitigar las oscilaciones, mientras monitoreaban de cerca variables cr\u00edticas que se aproximaban a los l\u00edmites operativos aceptables. A pesar de estas intervenciones, se produjeron los <strong>primeros cortes<\/strong> en el sur de Espa\u00f1a, especialmente en las regiones de <strong>Granada, Badajoz y Sevilla<\/strong>, con una p\u00e9rdida estimada de <strong>2,2 GW de capacidad de generaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La <strong>frecuencia de la red ib\u00e9rica<\/strong> continu\u00f3 descendiendo hasta alcanzar un umbral cr\u00edtico de <strong>48 Hz<\/strong>. Esta ca\u00edda provoc\u00f3 la <strong>desconexi\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica de la red espa\u00f1ola<\/strong> tanto de la red portuguesa como de la francesa, para evitar una p\u00e9rdida mayor de sincronizaci\u00f3n. A continuaci\u00f3n, las <strong>l\u00edneas de corriente alterna (AC)<\/strong> que conectan Espa\u00f1a y Francia se dispararon, lo que condujo a un <strong>fallo total de la red<\/strong>, sin transferencia de energ\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de la conexi\u00f3n de <strong>corriente continua de alta tensi\u00f3n (HVDC)<\/strong> entre ambos pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La <strong>recuperaci\u00f3n<\/strong> comenz\u00f3 de forma gradual ese mismo d\u00eda, con la <strong>re-energizaci\u00f3n de la primera l\u00ednea de transmisi\u00f3n AC de 400 kV<\/strong> entre Espa\u00f1a y Francia a las 12:44 CEST, lo que supuso un hito clave en el proceso. Poco despu\u00e9s, a las 13:04 CEST, se restableci\u00f3 la interconexi\u00f3n entre <strong>Espa\u00f1a y Marruecos<\/strong>, lo que mejor\u00f3 la estabilidad regional de la red. A las 13:35 CEST, la l\u00ednea AC oriental entre <strong>Espa\u00f1a y Francia<\/strong> volvi\u00f3 a estar operativa, consolidando a\u00fan m\u00e1s la resiliencia del sistema.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A las 16:11 CEST, una instalaci\u00f3n portuguesa con capacidad de <strong>arranque aut\u00f3nomo (black-start)<\/strong> inici\u00f3 operaciones con \u00e9xito, demostrando su capacidad esencial para la recuperaci\u00f3n. Los esfuerzos continuaron a las 18:36 CEST con la <strong>re-energizaci\u00f3n de la l\u00ednea de 220 kV entre Espa\u00f1a y Portugal<\/strong>, reforzando la capacidad de transmisi\u00f3n transfronteriza. Finalmente, a las 21:35 CEST, la <strong>restauraci\u00f3n de la l\u00ednea de 400 kV entre Espa\u00f1a y el sur de Portugal<\/strong> marc\u00f3 el cierre de una de las fases clave del proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n en la <strong>Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La <strong>estabilidad completa del sistema el\u00e9ctrico<\/strong> no se recuper\u00f3 hasta el <strong>29 de abril<\/strong>. Las consecuencias de este colapso afectaron tambi\u00e9n al <strong>sector del transporte<\/strong>, provocando retrasos y cancelaciones significativas en los servicios de tren y avi\u00f3n. Asimismo, las <strong>comunicaciones<\/strong> se vieron gravemente restringidas, lo que oblig\u00f3 a varios centros de salud a <strong>recurrir a generadores de emergencia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Uno de los factores cr\u00edticos que agravan los desaf\u00edos del sistema el\u00e9ctrico espa\u00f1ol es la <strong>alta integraci\u00f3n de fuentes de energ\u00eda renovable<\/strong> en el mix energ\u00e9tico. Esta situaci\u00f3n ha provocado una <strong>insuficiente masa sincr\u00f3nica<\/strong>, normalmente proporcionada por medios de generaci\u00f3n convencionales como la <strong>nuclear, ciclos combinados (CCGT)<\/strong> y <strong>energ\u00eda hidroel\u00e9ctrica<\/strong>. Estas tecnolog\u00edas tradicionales utilizan <strong>turbinas de alta capacidad<\/strong> que transmiten energ\u00eda de forma efectiva y sincr\u00f3nica. Sin embargo, a medida que aumenta la proporci\u00f3n de renovables, <strong>disminuye la disponibilidad de generaci\u00f3n convencional<\/strong>, lo que conlleva una <strong>reducci\u00f3n de la inercia rotacional<\/strong>, fundamental para mantener la <strong>frecuencia nominal de 50 Hz<\/strong>. Esta frecuencia es esencial, ya que <strong>generadores, motores y transformadores<\/strong> est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para operar a ese valor en Europa. Mantener la estabilidad del sistema el\u00e9ctrico exige que <strong>la generaci\u00f3n y la demanda est\u00e9n equilibradas de forma constante<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante el intervalo cr\u00edtico entre las <strong>12:00 y las 12:40 CEST<\/strong>, la generaci\u00f3n procedente de <strong>fuentes nucleares y ciclos combinados<\/strong> se mantuvo baja (ilustrado en la Figura 1, que muestra la mezcla de producci\u00f3n horaria de todas las tecnolog\u00edas disponibles en Espa\u00f1a). La generaci\u00f3n <strong>fotovoltaica (FV)<\/strong> alcanz\u00f3 su pico entre las 08:00 y las 13:00 CEST (como se observa en la Figura 2, con un aporte cercano al <strong>90% exclusivamente de fotovoltaica<\/strong> durante ese periodo). Fuente: Red El\u00e9ctrica.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una de las principales consideraciones es la <strong>vulnerabilidad inherente del sistema el\u00e9ctrico espa\u00f1ol<\/strong>, agravada por la alta penetraci\u00f3n de renovables y la consecuente baja inercia rotacional. Para hacer frente de forma eficaz a los retos asociados a niveles elevados de tecnolog\u00edas e\u00f3lica y fotovoltaica, es imprescindible explorar una serie de <strong>mejoras cr\u00edticas<\/strong>. Estas deben incluir la <strong>integraci\u00f3n de reservas de inercia sint\u00e9tica<\/strong>, el <strong>despliegue de bater\u00edas con capacidad de respuesta r\u00e1pida<\/strong> (tanto para carga como descarga en la red), y la <strong>incorporaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas convencionales<\/strong> que refuercen la estabilidad del sistema.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En este contexto, <strong>Haya Energy Solutions<\/strong> ha desarrollado un <strong>optimizador avanzado para sistemas de bater\u00edas<\/strong>, que permite ofrecer <strong>servicios de asesoramiento en inversi\u00f3n<\/strong> adaptados a las necesidades y particularidades de cada proyecto.
