Cette \u00e9volution est soutenue par les am\u00e9liorations technologiques et les encouragements des gouvernements, qui voient dans ce carburant une solution aux probl\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la diversification des sources et au d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;agriculture, ainsi qu&rsquo;une alternative plus durable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dans cet article, nous pr\u00e9sentons les principales \u00e9tapes du processus de production de biogaz. En outre, nous d\u00e9crivons certains des avantages par rapport aux carburants actuels. Toutefois, certains d\u00e9fis m\u00e9ritent d&rsquo;\u00eatre mentionn\u00e9s et d&rsquo;autres inconv\u00e9nients doivent \u00eatre pris en compte.<\/p>\n<p>La de production de biogaz commence par l&rsquo;obtention de biogaz par un processus de digestion ana\u00e9robie \u00e0 partir de diff\u00e9rents types de sources organiques, par exemple les eaux us\u00e9es, le fumier, les d\u00e9chets agricoles, etc. Le biogaz g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 contient principalement du m\u00e9thane (CH4) &#8211; le principal composant du gaz natural &#8211; et du dioxyde de carbone (CO2), ainsi que d&rsquo;autres gaz dans des proportions moindres, consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme des r\u00e9sidus. Ces gaz seront normalement \u00e9mis dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re, bien qu&rsquo;il soit possible de l&rsquo;\u00e9viter. Il est \u00e0 noter que le CH4 contribue \u00e0 l&rsquo;effet de serre pr\u00e8s de 30 fois plus que le CO2.<\/p>\n<p>En fonction du type de mati\u00e8re organique aliment\u00e9e, les gaz souhait\u00e9s seront produits dans des proportions et des volumes diff\u00e9rents. Le choix du \u00ab\u00a0menu\u00a0\u00bb est donc crucial pour le processus. Ensuite, pour augmenter sa puret\u00e9 et donc son intensit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, le biogaz est converti en biom\u00e9thane en s\u00e9parant le CO2 et les d\u00e9chets par le processus de valorisation. Enfin, ce biom\u00e9thane, qui est principalement compos\u00e9 de m\u00e9thane provenant de sources naturelles renouvelables, sera i) converti en BioGNL gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un processus de liqu\u00e9faction, ii) inject\u00e9 dans le r\u00e9seau de gaz naturel, ou iii) utilis\u00e9 directement pour la production d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et de chaleur.<\/p>\n<p>Outre les \u00e9missions gazeuses, la digestion ana\u00e9robie permet \u00e9galement d&rsquo;obtenir des d\u00e9chets solides qui peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s comme engrais en raison de leur teneur en mati\u00e8re organique et en min\u00e9raux tels que l&rsquo;azote ou le phosphore.<\/p>\n<p>Ce processus est r\u00e9sum\u00e9 dans le diagramme suivant :<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13836 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/hayaenergy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Graph1_FR-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"492\" height=\"463\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hayaenergy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Graph1_FR-1.png 1246w, https:\/\/hayaenergy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Graph1_FR-1-300x282.png 300w, https:\/\/hayaenergy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Graph1_FR-1-1024x964.png 1024w, https:\/\/hayaenergy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Graph1_FR-1-768x723.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 492px) 100vw, 492px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Source : Haya Energy Solutions<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Outre l&rsquo;impact positif sur la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de GES, comme mentionn\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, le biogaz peut avoir un impact neutre, voire n\u00e9gatif, sur le carbone, la combustion du m\u00e9thane produisant des niveaux plus faibles de polluants atmosph\u00e9riques tels que les oxydes d&rsquo;azote (NOx) et les particules (PM), par rapport \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres combustibles. En somme, le biom\u00e9thane offre tous les avantages du syst\u00e8me \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique du gaz naturel sans les \u00e9missions nettes qui y sont associ\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De plus, le biogaz peut \u00eatre produit localement \u00e0 partir de d\u00e9chets organiques facilement disponibles, ce qui r\u00e9duit la d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9gard des combustibles fossiles import\u00e9s et renforce la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et peut utiliser les infrastructures existantes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Une analyse d\u00e9taill\u00e9e r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par l&rsquo;Agence internationale de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie (AIE) a montr\u00e9 que la disponibilit\u00e9 de mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res durables pour le biom\u00e9thane (\u00e0 l&rsquo;exclusion de celles qui sont en concurrence avec l&rsquo;amendement des terres agricoles) repr\u00e9sente environ 20 % de la demande mondiale de gaz naturel et est largement r\u00e9partie dans le monde. Le potentiel de l&rsquo;UE repr\u00e9sente environ 10 % du total mondial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;ind\u00e9pendance environnementale et \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&rsquo;un des principaux moteurs du soutien politique des gouvernements. En outre, le plan REPowerEU indique que l&rsquo;augmentation de la production durable de biogaz est un moyen rentable de r\u00e9aliser l&rsquo;ambition de l&rsquo;UE de r\u00e9duire les importations de gaz naturel en provenance de Russie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;Europe (et principalement l&rsquo;Allemagne) est en t\u00eate de l&rsquo;utilisation du biogaz, repr\u00e9sentant plus de 45 % de la production mondiale (205 TWh sur 450 TWh). Elle est suivie de pr\u00e8s par la Chine, o\u00f9 les digesteurs domestiques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s il y a quelques d\u00e9cennies pour fournir une \u00e9nergie propre pour l&rsquo;usage r\u00e9sidentiel dans les zones rurales, avec pr\u00e8s de 42 millions de digesteurs domestiques install\u00e9s en 2015. Toutefois, cette m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, la politique gouvernementale a \u00e9volu\u00e9 vers la cog\u00e9n\u00e9ration (production combin\u00e9e de chaleur et d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 &#8211; CHP). D&rsquo;ici 2028, l&rsquo;AIE pr\u00e9voit qu&rsquo;environ 600 TWh par an seront produits, dont 43 % en Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ce biogaz peut avoir diverses utilisations. En Europe, par exemple, il est principalement utilis\u00e9 pour la production d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et de chaleur, tandis qu&rsquo;en Chine, comme mentionn\u00e9 ci-dessus, il est principalement utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 des fins r\u00e9sidentielles. Il peut \u00eatre inject\u00e9 dans le r\u00e9seau naturel, utilis\u00e9 pour la transformation industrielle ou comme substitut aux carburants de transport, en particulier lorsqu&rsquo;il est liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;un des principaux obstacles au d\u00e9ploiement du biogaz en Europe est l&rsquo;\u00e9cart entre le co\u00fbt de production du biogaz (entre 54 \u20ac\/MWh et 109 \u20ac\/MWh) et le prix du gaz naturel (actuellement inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 40 \u20ac\/MWh), m\u00eame avec les prix actuels du CO2. Afin de soutenir les investissements, les gouvernements encouragent davantage l&rsquo;utilisation du biogaz. Il est probable qu&rsquo;un r\u00e9seau commercial autour du biogaz se mette en place dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir, ce qui contribuera \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le rythme et l&rsquo;ampleur de la croissance du biom\u00e9thane en reliant les sites de production et de demande.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ces co\u00fbts \u00e9lev\u00e9s peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre r\u00e9duits gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration de la technologie utilis\u00e9e qui, largement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e pour les grandes installations, est encore en cours de d\u00e9veloppement pour les petites installations, et gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&rsquo;optimisation de l&rsquo;approvisionnement en mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res et de leur traitement. Un autre obstacle \u00e0 ce d\u00e9ploiement est la r\u00e9sistance des communaut\u00e9s locales aux usines de biogaz en raison des inqui\u00e9tudes concernant les odeurs, le trafic et d&rsquo;autres impacts environnementaux.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En conclusion, la diversification de la matrice \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique est un moyen alternatif d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, de r\u00e9duire les importations de combustibles fossiles et de fournir un approvisionnement local dans les pays o\u00f9 le biogaz est produit. L&rsquo;infrastructure GNL existante peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour \u00ab\u00a0connecter\u00a0\u00bb le biogaz produit sans impliquer de gros investissements dans les co\u00fbts d&rsquo;infrastructure.
