Antonio started his career in the electricity sector in 1991 working as a member of the General Manager’s team at Sevillana de Electricidad (Spain). In 1997, he was appointed head of commercial regulation at Endesa Distribución. In 2000, he joined the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) department of Endesa Europe. He was appointed Managing Director of Endesa Power Trading Ltd (UK) in 2003. A year later, he became responsible for energy management at SNET (France). In 2008, he was appointed Managing Director of SNET (France). In 2009, he became Director of Corporate Development at E.ON France. In 2011, he founded Haya Energy Solutions (HES), a consulting firm focused on optimising the energy management of consumers, producers and retailers of gas and electricity. From 2015 to 2018, Antonio combined the consulting activity at HES with the general management of 2 production facilities in France (2 CCGTs x 410MW), owned by KKR. At the end of 2018, he joined Asterion Industrial Partners, an infrastructure investment fund, as an operating partner. Antonio currently devotes most of his efforts to the Asterion Portfolio, while advising through HES companies in the energy sector in France, Italy, Germany, UK and Spain.
Antonio graduated from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros of Seville (Spain) and holds an MBA degree from Deusto University (Spain).
Manuel has been serving as CEO of Haya Energy Solutions (HES) since March 2024, leveraging a decade of robust international experience within the Energy sector. His expertise spans various domains including M&A, Asset Optimization, O&M, and Engineering. Joining HES in 2019, Manuel has effectively managed numerous M&A projects, notably facilitating the acquisition of significant entities such as a leading power utility in Italy, a renewable energy development company in France, and a major energy utility in Germany. His comprehensive approach comprises technical, commercial, regulatory, and strategic dimensions. Additionally, he has adeptly guided both consumer and producer clients in optimizing their energy strategies, achieving cost reduction and revenue enhancement while prioritizing environmental considerations. In 2021, Manuel took the lead in the expansion of HES into Spain, assuming leadership of the Seville office from inception to the establishment of a sound client portfolio and the development of a high-performing team.
Prior to his tenure at HES, Manuel started his career after graduating from the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros of Seville (Spain) by contributing to several international construction projects with ABENGOA in Spain, the U.K., and Chile. Subsequently, he transitioned to CELEST under KKR ownership in France in 2016, where he managed operations and maintenance for two 420MW CCGT plants.
In 2018, Paloma started working at HES as a trainee, where she gained some experience in the energy sector by participating in various projects related with the electricity, gas and emissions markets, and monitoring the operation of a District Heating facility and 2 CCGTs. Paloma moved back to Spain in 2019 and joined Elmya, S.A, where she spent more than two years in the PV sector as an Operations and Maintenance engineer. While in charge of a technical team, her responsibilities also included resolution of incidents, planning of corrective and preventive maintenance, analysis and monitoring of KPIs via SCADA, and a continuous collaboration with clients to manage the maintenance of their production facilities (a total of 300MW in solar sites spread across the UK, Spain and Portugal). In 2021, Paloma joined HES again as a Consultant where she continued to participate in value capture projects through renewable energy installations and specialized in energy markets in Spain, providing energy procurement, billing and management strategies for consumers across the country.
Paloma graduated in Industrial Engineering with a special focus in energy at the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros de Sevilla (Spain), she completed her Master degree in Seville (2016-2017) and l´École Centrale de Nantes (2017-2019).
Cheyenne began his career as a technical product sales engineer in the industrial sector, where he distributed materials for manufacturers in the aeronautical, maritime, and automotive industries. He was also involved in modernizing irrigation systems by analyzing consumption loads and developing software to optimize reduction and achieve optimal levels.
In June 2023, Cheyenne joined the HES team as a Junior Consultant specializing in optimizing clients’ energy consumption. He has been involved in important M&A operations with successful outcomes. He is responsible for technical aspects concerning the operation and management of CCGT, to optimize plant usage and prevent technical adversities. Other responsibilities include long-term projects, such as development and digitalization of the company’s procedures and tools, as part of our important compromise with clients, and modeling of energy price curves and optimization scenarios to determine the most effective strategies as AD-HOC. Additionally, he plays an active role in the social development network in Spain, participating in the prospect procedure with new clients.
He graduated in agronomy from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros and the University of Cordoba (Spain – 2022), and completed his studies with a master’s degree in Ecosystem Data Analysis and Modelling at the University of Göttingen (Germany – 2022).
Céline joined Haya Energy Solutions in November 2021 as marketing and administration manager. She had a first professional experience in the tourism sector as a social media manager. At HES, her activities are focused on the development of the company’s visibility at European level through: commercial actions, content marketing and development of brand strategy. Céline is also involved in the management of the company’s communication: optimisation of the website (WordPress & Elementor), LinkedIn, publication of the monthly newsletter and the organisation of conferences. Céline participates in energy projects with the clients and acts as coordinator and project manager. Finally, she is in charge of administration (accounting, expenses management, invoicing).
Céline graduated in Spanish and English Philology at La Sorbonne (France – 2018) and holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and Cultural Tourism (Clermont-Ferrand/ Buenos Aires – 2021).
Guillermo graduated in Industrial Technologies Engineering at the University of Seville (Spain – 2021). During his internship he joined HES to develop his knowledge of the energy market and focus his Final Degree Project on the French capacity mechanism. Guillermo then completed his master’s studies in Industrial Engineering at the University of Seville with an exchange at l’École Polytechnique de Lyon (France – 2022) and again completed his internship (this time for his Master’s degree) at HES. Guillermo joined HES with a native level of Spanish and high-fluent English, and since his arrival at HES he has managed to add French to this repertoire. In August 2023, Guillermo officially joined HES as a junior consultant specialised in modelling and optimisation of power generation assets in France and Spain.
Irene worked as a Community Manager at SJ Proline and as a Social Media Strategist at Jumpers, both were communication agencies. Currently, Irene is an intern at HES in the Marketing department combining her previous knowledge to participate in communication strategy and content marketing assignments for the energy sector.
Irene graduated in Advertising and Public Relations with a specialization in Digital Communication from the EUSA University Center (Seville – 2023). During her studies, she stood out with a distinction in her Final Degree Project, focused on the metaverse as a new space for branding and advertising strategies. This project revealed her deep understanding of the digital world and her ability to identify emerging trends.
Diego graduated in Political Economy at King’s College University (London – 2021). He started his professional career in a family business in Madrid as an operations manager. Diego then studied a Master in Management and Master in Computer Science at IE University (Madrid – 2022), during which he participated as an Information Technology (IT) intern in a startup. In May 2023, Diego joined the HES team as an intern specialised in programming models. In his first project, he developed a software tool for modelling the unavailability of the French nuclear fleet. Afterwards, Diego has also participated in the development of new software tools for modelling price curves, generation asset performance and other topics related to the energy market.
In 2011, Lourdes started her professional career at the Energy and Environmental Transition research centre Nobatek (in Bordeaux – France) where she was involved in projects related with sustainable construction. In 2012, she joined Haya Energy Solutions where she participated in M&A projects, electricity purchase and sale strategy projects and worked as a market operator for short and medium-term for two CCGTs. In 2018, she joined the French railway company SNCF as Portfolio Manager managing an electricity portfolio of 6 TWh (strategy definition, pricings and market operations). She was part of the negotiation team for PPAs, EFETS and other power purchase agreements. In 2020, she worked as Project Manager and Product Owner of the new IT management system (ETRM). In 2022, Lourdes was appointed deputy director of Operations and Development. In 2024, Lourdes rejoined HES as Senior Consultant.
Lourdes studied Industrial Engineering at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Sevilla (Spain) and completed her studies with a programme in international business, finance and culture with l’Ecole des Arts et Metiers and l’INSEEC Business School (France – 2010).

His career started in civil engineering as a Project Manager in France, Martinique and Australia. Afterwards, he became the General Manager of a subsidiary in Venezuela. In 1992, he established Dalkia in Germany (district heating, cogeneration, and partnerships) and represented Véolia in Thailand. In 2000, he opened the commercial office of Endesa in France to take advantage of the liberalized retail market. From 2006, as a development Manager at Endesa France, he led Endesa’s plan for Combined Cycle generation in France and developed the wind and PV portfolio of Snet at the same time. Philippe Boulanger worked for 3 years at E.ON’s headquarters coordinating the company´s activities in France. He was strongly involved in the French hydro concession renewal project. As a Senior Vice President – Project Director at Solvay Energy Services from April 2012 to February 2014 he was in charge of the H2/Power to gas and European direct market access deployment projects. Philippe has been an HES expert since 2014.
Philippe Boulanger holds engineering degrees both from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts & Chaussées (France) and has a combined experience of more than 25 years in energy and infrastructure. In addition to English, Mr. Boulanger is fluent in French, German & Spanish.

Philippe has spent his entire career in the energy industry, first at TOTAL, from 1979 to 2001, and then at E.ON. At TOTAL, his experience covered upstream activities (oil & gas exploration) as well as downstream activities in the gas and power sectors. He led the successful negotiation and start of construction of the Taweelah A2 1350 MW gas-fired power and water desalination plant in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. After joining E.ON, he successfully developed the French retail gas business of E.ON Ruhrgas before becoming Director of Sales for both gas and power at E.ON France. Philippe is an HES expert since 2012.
Philippe holds an engineering degree from the Ecole Polytechnique (Paris, class of 1976) and an MBA from Berkeley University (California, USA, class of 1983).

Manolo has focused his professional career on the thermal power generation sector by holding several positions in the construction, operation and management of power plants in different countries. He started his career in 1972 at the Besos power plant (Spain). Since 1976, he participated in the construction and operation of the Foix power plant (Spain). In 1981, he was responsible for Maintenance Operations, to later become the Director of the plant in 1988. From 1987 to 1997, he was a member of the Executive Committee of the Térmicas del Besos Company. From 1998 to 2002, he was Head of Production of 5 plants (2,150 MW). In 2002, he arrived in France and worked as a Production Manager at Snet (5 power plants, 2,500 MW), for which he led several projects in coal-fired plants pollution, automation and processing biomass plant of Bialistok (Poland), and participated in the development of 4 CCGT units to be built in France. In 2008, he was appointed CEO of Endesa Hellas, where he was involved in the construction and operation of the Viotia 400MW CCGT (Greece). From 2012 to 2018, Manolo participated in the preparation of a number of Technical Due Dilligiences (Alpiq, Coriance, etc) and, more specifically, those related to Toul and Pont-sur-Sambre CCGTs (CELEST), power plants for which he also coordinated Operations and Maintenance since 2015. Manolo has worked as an independent consultant for HES since 2012. He was CEO of Endesa Hellas (Greece) between 2008 and 2010.
Manuel López graduated from the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros de Barcelona (1971) and holds an MBA degree (1991).
